This may be old news but I see that a new version of this game is coming soon.

Once upon a time I had a small 500 point Imperial Fists army for this game but Forge World resin (quality and cost) put me off buying any more.

Now they are releasing a new box with all new plastic models!

Just wondering if anyone is interested in this kind of thing?

I still have my World Eaters army somewhere so could play it if the rules aren't terrible. Honestly more interested in doing it at smaller scale with adapted apocalypse rules though.

Yeah, there is someone who has shrunk them down to 15mm scale and they look pretty awesome.

The new rules look pretty decent and with it being marine v marine makes balance that much easier to achieve.

The new box is tempting though, rumour is that it’s £180 but you get a near 2,000 point army.

I’m also interested. I’ve got Wordbearers, salamanders and thousand sons, which are a mix of resin and plastic (including repurposing 40k era vehicles given they started introducing them in the pictures)

I do like 40k, but I find the current edition rules unfathomable, so the lure of a reasonable new set may work.

Equally, I’d be happy to try out some apocalypse using them.

I've just "acquired" ~500pt Necron set and a ~500pt Ultramarine set to start out with my eldest.
I don't suppose anyone would be up for a one off game at some point?

Long time no see! I assume you mean normal 40k as opposed to Horus Heresy? I'm aiming for 500 points of Eldar very slowly but I'm not there yet.

I can do 500pts of Genestealer Cult or Tyranids (haven't played the new codex so that would be a learning game for me)

I can also do 500 points of a lot of factions, but I'm away for the next couple of months. Up for a game when I'm back though.
