Warcry Campaign

Had a read though the campaign section of the book and it all seems pretty simple. Campaigns are personal to a player with the only requirement being to play the games against someone else with a campaign roster, so this doesn't need to be massively organised for us to run it. The basic idea is that you have a progress track where you have to play 11 games to get to the end. 3 of these games are important with preset scenarios and have to be won to progress (so you get stuck at that point on the track until you get a win). Once you get to the end you get some fancy artefact and can just hang around as is or start a new campaign quest. Warbands will get more powerful after a few games but it doesn't read like this will massively unbalance things. I can't see any reason why we can't start this whenever anyone is ready.

Yup, I figured no point hanging around, might as well dive straight in.

So, when are we thinking would be sensible to switch to full on campaign mode?

I'll be needing a campaign tracker - not bought the book yet

Oli and I started already!

Well I got all of 2 glory and a game played tick as I fluffed my search roll...

Oli however got 5 glory, a consumable 2d6 heal minor artefact and a perishable +1 move minor artefact.

I've printed a bunch of campaign sheets.

That works. I'll write up a roster before Tuesday then. Might be a good plan to track where everyone is up to, mainly so people who are both at a convergence point avoid playing each other as in that situation only one of them gets the chance of advancing.

Might have to hold off joining in as I'm not sure if I want to bother with the Golems and go straight for the Fang.

That’s the nice thing about this campaign structure, you can drop in with whatever and whenever. I intend to field both Golems and Nighthaunt interweaved as the mood takes me.
