The Walking Dead: Rules Clarification

Further to the epic assault on the prison last week, a couple of queries came up surrounding cover, multiple shots and Arctic Sniper Rifles. The good news is that, post our discussions and postulating, we played it correctly! Having re-read the rules more closely the answers were right before our eyes and are summarised as follows:

Multiple Shots (Page 15 of the Original Rule-book)

'Some weapons and special skills allow the shooter to take multiple shots as a single action. You may opt to fire fewer shots if you wish, unless the weapon card specifically forbids it. Each shot is resolved separately, one at a time, following the usual rules. (Out of Ammo - If the ranged attack includes one or more headshots, you must immediately roll a black die. A shield, there is no effect, a blank your have run out of ammo). This is a single action, so NOISE or MAYHEM is only calculated once, regardless of how many shots were taken'.

Cover (Page 15)

'When a ranged attack is made, trace a straight line between the attacker and target, and take a note of any scenery that falls even partially beneath that line. Scenery in contact with the shooter is not counted'.

Simple when you read the right place

I haven't found any further clarity on the additional headshot for the sniper scope yet... :?

Excellent, good to see we can manage something correctly!
