Just saw the new article about objectives and wow that method of measuring is terrible. The rules for models list movement with both a number and the shape but the objectives only show the shape meaning you need to memorise the wonderful new system where shapes translate into numbers that aren't related in a meaningful way to the number of sides or anything. 3 = 1, 1 = 2, 4 = 3, 5 = 6. What sort of logic is that?! All this is going to result in is a ton of unnecessary errors when people misremember what the distances mean, leading to endless frustration, while not making the game easier for anyone.

I do wonder why it wasn't Circle, Half Moon, Triangle, Hexagon. Would have made more sense...

Based on something Dave mentioned last night (links below) it seems that the rules guys (or staff in general) end up with no grasp of the plot and odd decisions get made about the games.

I saw all that yesterday. It's disappointing but not exactly surprising.

Honestly I think I'm just going to go back to ignoring kill team. Necromunda makes so much more sense as a campaign setting and has yet to gain this latest round of gw rules nonsense.
