Biggest change i remember was that monsters appear on a much lower role.
As I was using a new wizard type the spells were new too so didn't notice any changes.
There were little things but so small I've forgotton what they were.

I'll be carrying the warband forwards, just wish I'd also claimed the game verses Brad as a campaign game, as that went a lot better!
In theory, my spellcasters (at least when on the board!) did better than Gary's as I managed to cast more spells, but my inability to hit any monster, except the leopard that was in a least threatening position, really did me over, as I lost both spellcasters in successive turns.

I'll need to dig out my sheet, but iirc I have lost 3 of 4 specialists (2 dead, 1 MNG) so will have lots of thugs and thieves.

Oh, and like Gary, I failed both my pre-game rolls (playing an Enchanter, so hoping for a construct or two).

As for things different, really the only one is the monsters Gary mentioned - 55% of appearing when you pick up a treasure compared to 25% in 1e (iirc, might have been less).
Like Gary, I'm trying a new wizard type (for me) so most of the spells I have I've not used before.
