I think we did pretty good rules-wise. We may take a while but we got it right!

Do we need to start some new threads in this section? This one is starting to stray between topics and get a little out of control!

I tend to see this one as the general place for random thoughts that would be very sad 2 or 3 post threads on their own. The general chat thread as it were.

Taelor is sooooooo good against anyone that summons. She can do her free charge unlimited times.

Somehow I ordered a Doppelganger, a Pathfinder and some Austringers this morning. This was not in the plan...

The Clockwork Traps that come with the Pathfinder are weird. They're Peons but they aren't insignificant, instead they are inanimate and just never activate.

But that means other figures that can hand out actions (like say, Lucius or Austringers) can get them to interact and drop scheme markers!

Nice one! You'll have more stuff than me at this rate!

All cool models too.

I have a rules question, when a model's card says it can discard a card for a bonus can it discard multiple cards for a multiple of that bonus? "A" suggests singular.

Cheers

As far as I'm aware, unless the ability states otherwise you can do it as much as you like.

But I'm worried now so have asked on the forum.

You know the more I think about it, the more I think you're right. Obviously I'm thinking specifically of Lucius/Lawyers discarding for negative flips and the wording for the ability starts 'When targeted by an enemy attack' implying a specific timing window and so a single discard.

If so I have been a right Cheaty McCheaterson in multiple games.

I was thinking of "I pay better" which allows a model to "discard a card for +1 focus", I was hoping to discard 2 cards for +2 focus.....

Yup, I'm a terrible cheat.

I assume I pay better has a similar specific timing trigger like 'start of the activation'?

Yeah it says:

"....may discard a card at the start of their activation to gain the Focused +1 Condition".

Don't worry too much, I've been focusing Von Schill with that ability only to be told at the tournament that he isn't a Mercenary and so doesn't benefit from it.
