I agree but I feel like the designers don’t know their minds! They have contradicted my interpretation on more than one occasion. If you pay for equipment then you would just buy a ganger every time, there is no contest.

I think the free ones you get will be the only time we will see them on the table.

If they are on top of normal gang limit I guess they’re meant to be an expensive extra for a particularly key game. Like stealing a territory you really want or rescuing a beloved hostage.

Speaking of which, bet I’ll regret this, but should Ray roll for hostages after his win?

In theory yes but I’ll leave it up to him to decide if he wants to roll given that his next three games could all potentially be Rescue Missions....

I’d assume he’d only capture one, but the random pool would include all of us.

How would playing a rescue mission interact with the whole gaining territories step of the campaign we are in at the moment? I'm not sure that either side gaining territory as a result would make any sense?

Yeah it would have to be a side mission I feel, so no territory at stake as the gang’s focus is purely on getting their mate back.

And Tom should be arbitrator as that’s a pretty obvious solution that he came up with that hadn’t even crossed my mind!
