Hi guys,

I think we're talking about KOW Vanguard as one of our "new games" next year.

I've been interested in KOW in general for a little while, especially the nightstalkers.

Being realistic, what would i need to play Vanguard? I've been lookig at the nightstalker warband set and booster box, but i am assuming I'd just be better off getting the nightstalkers mega army, so i can play both KOW and VG?

I can’t speak to what miniatures you should get but don’t bother getting the rule book. It’s had so many errata that’s it practically been re written. I think they might even offer a free pdf of it.

The mega army is obviously a way better deal but doesn't come with physical cards for use in vanguard. You don't need the cards though as all the rules are in the free pdfs. If you want to have the army work in both games though you will either have to avoid unit basing or keep some models separate for use in Vanguard.
