Tale of Four* Gamers

I just saw that and came to post it. This was pretty much guaranteed to happen now that I bought the rest of the books for the current edition. Oh well. I'll do my new army anyway as long as at least someone else is still doing it. After all, being a historical army it is usable in a ton of other systems if I need it to be. I expect current armies to be largely compatible with the new rules though, and mantic generally seem to do a good job of improving the rulesets over time, so I'm not really worried.

Same here, but as there hasn't been any investment for me yet I'm going to play the waiting game ;)

Between that, and talking with Gary about new goblin models and the new Basilean mega army, i'm thinking I might hold off a couple of months

Again my timing is slightly off. This does change my spending plans. It looks like we may need a different plan for late summer/early autumn.

I'll be getting on this in the new year. Was totalling up the cost kits for a kitbash project and was looking at spending more than this (https://www.goblingaming.co.uk/collecti ... tarter-set) just to build 10 guys...

So i'm jumping on KOW instead - undecided whether as Northern Alliance or Nightstalkers, but this box costs less than the rules + a started army and comes with as many models for either...

If you go Night Stalkers I think I have the Vanguard stuff for sale (if you want/need it).
Send help - buried under my lead mountain!

Very apt. Almost as if I'd rang them up. Shame they might cost the same as the rest of the army!

The LOTR Ent would make a possible proxy for Tree Herders too. Although I went with the Mantic one for cost.

Just need to glue all the buggers back together and I'll be back in the game.
