For the future, asked the author on FB about the ranged enemies and engaged heroes question. He admits it's a hole in the AI chart and says they should shoot the closest unengaged enemy if they can, but if all the heroes they can see are engaged then they'll bundle into the assist in the nearest combat.

Something I think we've misread.

Leadership is added to the Recruitment Points after you've done the calculation for number of players, so is always a basic add, so you 'only' need a Ld of 5 to make a difference in companion choice.

Another one we might have missed (not sure if it came up or not):

A quiver can hold on type of magical arrow or bolt, in addition to the normal, thereby saving a slot. I think one of our rangers found some magic arrows?
