ALL COACHES - Restart teams or not?

ALL COACHES - Restart teams or not?

Postby Darkson (Simon) » Tue Jul 14, 2015 11:32 pm

There's no poll function(?) on our forum, so I'm going to ask your opinions - please be honest!

Gary had already spoken about restarting his team, and after I made a mess of his in a friendly today, Mike's retired his Norse team.

Orignally I thought that, as long as no-one had played a 2nd league game with it, I'd let anyone re-start their team (same race etc), but it's been suggested that maybe, especially as this is just for fun, that's a bit restcitive.

Some other options:
Restart whenever you want (same race)
Restart once (any race)
Restart whenever (any race)
But I guess there are plenty more.

But I want to hear from you, the coaches. I don't want to make anyone sit through another 10(+) games with a team they don't want to play. Not fun for them, not fun for their opponent.

Honest thoughts please.
Send help - buried under my lead mountain!

I have no problem with people changing anything at anytime. When you fall too far back it is hard to be motivated to stay in. At least starting from scratch keeps you in the middle-ish. Though in weeks 7+ no amount of changing will really help anyway.

I'm happy with letting people freely restart whenever.

We're here to have fun. If people aren't having fun, there is no point in playing, so let them restart with new race if they want.

I would expect a fresh team to start on fresh points, though ;)

For most of us that's promotion.

They will as a) that's only fair as a new team and b) I don't think OBLLM could keep the points even if I wanted to!
