Blood Bowl league - start 23rd June

Looking to run a Blood Bowl league, probably starting June so people can get some practise games in if they want to knock off some rules rust and/or learn the game [Sven and Tom!], but who's interested, and if so, do you want to play with the normal rules or one of our house rules (ARBBL goes Chaos or ARBBL goes to the Pub)?
League structure would depend on number of people playing and what rules we'd use.

Been contacted by someone who's just moved back into the area who's interested in playing some BB again.

At least 8 players, maybe more if a few others learn to play and enjoy it.

I'm Up for it but have never played BB before so have no idea about the rules or what differs between the normal rules and house rules. May also need to get some. Guidance on getting going!

As it looks like we're going to have quite a few new players I'm not going to use any houserules, so just the normal rulebook ones.

How about we take all the teams and you pick one out of the hat. New starters get tier 1, Mark and I tier 2 etc with Simon tier 4.

Or base it on our NAF ranking. Simon still tier 4.

Random pick team sounds good to me. Saves me making an agonising choice!

And gives me a foolproof scapegoat to blame when it all goes horribly wrong

Not convinced by the random team idea. Doesn't that give a massive benefit to the people who have played all the teams, while at the same time preventing new players picking a team with a play style they like. Also I really don't get on with any of the normal teams.
