I'll be playing marauders, does somebody have a pdf of the rules I could 'look' at that they'd be willing to 'deliver' to me

Torn between Forgefathers and Enforcers.

Credit where it's due the hard plastic stuff is infinitely better than the restic stuff, hopefully they'll make all their models in it from now on.

I'll build some more over the weekend and make my choice on Monday.

Just reading the rulebook (an odd occurrence!)

On page 20 2nd paragraph it says :
the shoot action cannot be taken if the active model begins its turn in the same cube as an enemy model unless specified otherwise

So no breaking away from combat and then firing? On pg 17 moving away from enemies it ends the paragraph with
may continue its movement
so both seem to agree?

Anybody know of any faq on this, could have a drastic effect against more shooty factions?

From the errata

£23) I start a model’s activation with an enemy in
the same cube. I use my first action to Move out
of the cube. Can the model take a Shoot action?

Yes, it can. The model should check to see if it is
in the same cube as an enemy model at the time
it wishes to take an action, not at the start of its
activation. See the Errata section (Page 20)"

Assuming Sven is going Marauders.

Jon and Matt settled on Veer-Myn?

John still with us?

New planned start 16th August as Necro is finishing up next week.

I'm out then. No point in starting in a campaign where I've not even had a practice game.

Campaign will be lightning quick so just learn as you play if you want to join in. See it as a practice campaign. Or take practice games against campaign players ready for the next one.
