Deadzone 2 Campaign

I'm interested, but I want to get plenty of practise games under my belt before I join a campaign - my lack of games before Mike's attempt at trying one was what turned me off the whole thing.

That said, I won't even to be in a position to get practise games in till late July/August. And of course there's length of the game (which I honestly have no idea on) - if a game takes to long I'll need to stop to leave for work, which makes it pointless for me to join in (as does being able to play "friendlies", but that's a different issue).
Send help - buried under my lead mountain!

Games are super quick. Ray played three last night with time to spare and two of them were his opponent's first game with the new system.

I'm leaning towards Enforcers but Rebs are interesting me too.

Mike, I cheated! Peacekeepers are Specialists, I think I heard someone say you can only take one specialist per one troop(?)

Also Sven, I have only played two games but I'm convinced this version is infinitely better! Plus the campaign rules look good.

Cheers,
Dave

As I found out when looking at the list last night at home. Still a good game and close.

You'll only need one night to learn as you can get 3-5 games in!

I'm thinking of trying a proxied plague or veerymin team.
I also would like some practice games before committing.

Do items count towards your strike force value in a campaign setting?

I think they do, which means you can find all this great stuff but never have the points available to fit it into your strike force....?

My new starter box has arrived, so we should have another decent set of scenery soon. Also, some forge fathers that someone could potentially borrow.

Do you have enough scenery for a complete table now as well then? So we can have at least 3 games going at once (Me, You, Mike)?

Yeah enough for a table with a little spare so can mix it up a bit.
