Here's what I took and how they all ended up.

Dog 1 - Dead
Dog 2 - Dead
3A 1 - 1XP
General 1 - 1XP
General 2 - 1XP
Mortar - 1XP
Swarm 1 - 5XP - Spends 2 to level up and gains 'brawler', 3XP remain.
Swarm 2 - 2XP - Dead, but got better with no ill effect. Stops him levelling up though.
2 x Ammo - Spent

You can see who did all the work! One of the poor dead dogs got a kill but they're far too fragile to be worth reviving.

I'll use my new clearance on 2As as I might need to downgrade a swarm to a 2A in order to afford to field my new super swarm. I'll spend 10 rep on buying a 2A leaving a mere 1 in the bank.

Well, most of Tom's post has me confused - I think I'll be starting round 2 with one figure....

Just checked the stat increase rules and my enforcer has to choose fight stat first as this is the highest. If he goes up again I can choose one of the others as currently they are the same. :x

Checked the FAQ and rulebook. I still see nothing to stop Ray getting his +2rep for winning just because his opponent conceded (and his potential +2 for meeting his core objective if he had).

The bit about conceding meaning your opponent gets 10VPs is just talking about VPs and nothing else. The two bonus rep lines are unrelated to VPs.

It's all listed by individual figure here Mike:

viewtopic.php?f=50&t=197&start=40#p1707

One swarm got 2XP (enough to level once) but can't level due to needing to recover from his mild case of death.

Once swarm got 5XP which is enough to level twice, but you can only level once per game so the next level is in reserve until after the next game (unless it gets injured). I could sit him out the next game for a guaranteed level 3 swarm the following game, but where's the fun in that?

How are you doing the rankings? Clearly more than just rep gained if Ray is beating me!

Thanks Tom have double checked and I did have yours correct on my spreadsheet just miss read a note I made on the night if your game.

I am not doing the rankings by reputation alone as this does not take into consideration the economy of troop losses.

Well yeah I'd got that much :P

I was just wondering if it was being done by art (gut feel) or science (some kind of formula). Either perfectly valid, just curious.

As I have the biggest gut A lot of gut feeling went in to this and scratching of my hairy parts.

Rating thoughts
I felt that the concede gives your opponent too much in terms of reputation.
Someone who forfeits there task force lives more than someone else to get the reputation.
Xp and ranking increases your strike forces points. Deaths decrease your strike force points
Thinking of money/points terms or reputation or experience or a mixture

Concede vs abort vs playing on.
Should I have limited each player to one concede for the campaign.

Ray have you seen how much exploding kittens are at. They expected about a 1000 decks would be enough
