Wow, a year later, I had totally forgotten about this! I would be interested in seeing them at some point as I might get some myself when/if they go to retail.

The latest update is titled 'production and health issues' so take a guess...

Jesus Christ...

A year on the latest update is that since the Kickstarter the guy has lost an eye and now just had a heart bypass.

I've kind of given up on seeing any return from this one.

Wow! Makes me pleased the only one I backed that I'll never see again was for some custom dice (everything else has turned up, if exceptionally late).

Time for the occasional morbid curiosity check in on this one. The website has gone, the creators have gone completely internet dark and there is a concerted effort across the Italian gaming community to find and presumably lynch them.

ā‚¬111 entirely down the drain then.

I've heard of people losing more on Kickstarter but still, ouch.

Tough break, sorry Tom.

The stuff looked amazing though so canā€™t blame you for going for it, plus they had a relatively successful terrain business In the form of Manor House Workshop so all signs would have suggested it was dead cert!

Yeah, it hurts when it happens, and if I'm honest Kickstarter are less than stellar at giving a monkeys once they've got their cut - oh, they say they'll chase creators but nothing ever seems to come of it. It's only in the last couple of years they've started to crack down on creator's starting new campaigns before they've delivered on older ones.

Stories like yours and mine are most of the reasons I would only back campaigns by big(-ish) companies like Mantic or Steamforged (which it's really not for), creators that have a proven track record (Impact and the guy that did the Colony 87 figs) or people I know (like Jbone's frogs), which is a shame, as it's only a small percentage of people that have ruined it for others.
