Not sure if Gary was able to let everyone know, but if you are planning on backing it, you can do it through me if you like as ill probably be able to save more money on it for you all through my retailer pledge :D just waiting to find out what it is!

Might want to let Matt know, as he's already backed.

Ok if I was to go for an army which one do you think would suit me.

Elves or humans are out as they do not appeal to me as models. I would not paint them.

After our chat on Tues I think it has to be abyssal dwarfs.

Checked various comments on mantic forum and the army Is pretty much what you would need plus a couple of halfbreed heroes. That's sorted because I have a couple of GW bull centaurs. About a 1000 points version 1 rules.

The only things I might need to bolster the army would be a couple of different warmachines and some blunderbusses if the new rules make them better.

Oh and yes I will get the dragon with rider. It's a must really, honest, the rules say I have to in the small print.

My guy on a horse held up Gary's poncy elf on a winged thing for a couple of turns. It was amusing to say the least. My kom army is looking even tastier with the rules for black powder weapons being changed :D shame about my cannons being needed though. :(

Ok more number crunching.
Get a second mega army for $100 about £75 which is RRP £152.50.
Convert a few halfbreeds to heroes, convert a few immortals to heroes. Convert 2 warmachines to small mortars.
Convert a unit of immortals to blunderbus if the new rules make them better.
Save myself a further £50 for the conversions.

Order the abyssal on dragon $25 £16

Have a rule book set and a large abyssal dwarf army with a RRP of about £400 for $275 / £180
Total model size 151 models

Mat Is this really a no brainer.
