Kind of, kind of not. It's way in the future so none of the factions are the same. Warcasters are off table. It's proper alternative activation. I'm actually really interested in this.

I've seen a few posts. The one I can't seem to get past is that Warmachine and Infinity got together and had a baby.

Beta Rules

It's expensive compared with a lot of kickstarters but in line with Privateer's usual pricing. Models are all metal or resin. Delivering really this summer.

Had a read of the rules and it all seems very interesting. Keeps the resource allocation of war machine, but with alternate activation and recycling of units. Victory is by scenario objectives only.

Well I was buying this but with all the uncertainty right now I've cancelled my pledge. I'd happily pick it up at retail later on though if anyone else is interested.
