I believe you guys play games in a Tuesday right?

I'm not around this Tuesday but will be around the following Tuesday. So happy to come in for a game or to organise for another week

Yes, 7pm on Tuesdays. I believe I am playing kings of war next week, but Jon might be around to give you a game. If not, I'd be happy to discuss and set something up for a future week.

If Jon could play that would be great, but no point going out when ill. If not maybe I can play Ray the week of the 20th? I think that the main rules are available to download still. There if an app called 40k armies that has most armies in index form on it. Battle scribe (another app) also gives the ability to make most armies and it's points are mostly right. I've noticed a few things that are off.

We have had a shuffle round of dates so I am now free to play 40k new week. Give me a game size and I'll put a list together to bring.

Awesome.

Happy to play 1000 - 2000 maybe 1250-1500 would be best as a starter?

I have the open war cards if you want to play those?

I've been playing 1000 points so far but mainly that was while I got the hang of this new edition. Happy to play larger games at this point. Either way I need to write a new list since I won't have a codex until the weekend. Not played with the open war cards yet either, but happy to give it a go. All up to you really.

I've been doing 1000 until recently just moving up to 1250. Shall we try for 1250. Open war are quite good in that they are always 5 turns. So a Tyranid player then :)

Currently I'm running Necrons but I'm just starting Tyranids as my second army. I was torn between those two armies when I started but then the Necron army is progressing but with no codex in sigjt I thought I'd start on the Tyranids as well :)

I've generally been a tyranid player but I'll play something else if you are going to be playing them? Mirror matches are way less interesting. I've somehow gained a lot of armies through the years.

Oh no I've only just started buying for Tyranids. Only the hive tyrant has arrived so far. I'll be playing necrons for a while yet. Be interesting to play against the Tyranids. So far I've only played against ultramarines, dark angels, chaos/deathguard and Eldar.
