Just been sorting out an army for a game at home this month. Had to order some more movement trays and turns out I need to paint more gargoyles. I absolutely hate painting gargoyles.

On a new army: maybe. On an existing army where I want them to match the hundreds of already finished models: not a chance.

My copy arrived. No real surprises I can see in the rules so far. Looking forward to trying it out.

What kind of power level do the rules recommend? Barring some assembly that is still needed I almost have a deployable 100, if not a tad more.

I should be ready to go with rules etc.. by the 30th

It doesn't really have much to say about game size except that below 150 per player you might want to consider playing regular 40k instead.

Don't worry, I'm not saying I agree with them. The order system probably wants adapting if the games are too small though otherwise the whole army is going to end up having to do the same thing.

Looking at it, with another purchase I decided I need to buy with the rules, I can get 112 with 3 uniquely thematic detachments.
