Good News Everyone!

The brain damage from watching Dave's guts turn inside out was specifically 'event damage'. Event damage is non-lethal and can't cause rolls on the injury table. Red saviour lives!

As the Kingsman can't really be blamed for the bow guy walking off into the darkness I think that just about swings the encounter to profitable.

I'll roll up a few things this means later.

Do we want to experiment with our new saviour being blue as we now have a live red and green?

Newly spared Lara Manbane gained Strategist (the one that lets us put out stone faces, woop!) from beating the Kingsman and got better at running away after seeing the Bone Witch.

The 1.5 upgrade pack has arrived! Quite significant changes to saviours. Many tweaks to equipment and innovations. A new bigger badder final boss (hah!).

I'll have to sit down and see how feasible a mid-campaign upgrade is but it seems like it'll work fine.

Kicked off a new campaign with Paul, Seb and Tom at Test Valley. We hit the cancer pigeons on the first hunt phase just to truly introduce them to the wrongness of the world.

They seem pretty keen to keep going though so fingers crossed this one doesn't fizzle out.

I’ve really wanted to pick this up again for a while, but we seem to have more people staying after 9pm now

It's not the easiest to fit in with the current gaming dynamic indeed. I'm sure its time will come again.

We beat the Butcher! Quite handily and then got his big axe in the loot.

This run seems absurdly blessed with good luck.
