Just got a load of 15mm evil men (chaos) fnally from an indegogo project. Does anyone play warmaster? Also, what ancients lists are there as looking into Napoleonics in 15mm as well.

Me, Mike, Ray and Matt played about a year or so(?) ago. We were playing ancients though so Greeks, Perisans and Romans.

Never really took off though.

I didn't think there was a Napoleonic version of warmaster......I'd play that but would rather do Naps in 28mm as I've got a load of Perry stuff for it (something like black powder maybe).

Just realised like it seemed i slated the club! Its not, just it's hard to play the kind of games I want to play at times :(

I would do 28mm but prefer 15mm as a scale for those kind of Wargames now. I was thinking of black powder as a ruleset or division commander by Capitan games. Could do both... The reason is I was going to get a French and a. Allies army in 15mm eventually (once I start getting work in and can afford new toys). Plus I went in on these chaos figures and have no bloody use for them now!

A bit, but I bit my tongue. I think we all go through that though. Both me and Simon haven't played as much as we used to recently as what's good for the club, (lots of new things), isn't necessarily good for the Individual, (necromunda and mordheim rule forever).

Yep. I've never been that interested in fantasy battle games (WFB, KoW, LotR), not that interested in small scale games (the only ones that have ever interested me were original Epic [missed the boat on that one] and Dropzone [and didn't want to start a game where I couldn't use the miniatures elsewhere]) and haven't been interested in the vast majority of historical games (exception being vikings, cowboys and pirates, and then only in skirmish games), so WM or WM Ancients, or Napoleonic are just not of any interest to me.

That was what I meant. I love historical wargaming, always have done and always will, but with the exception of Dave really, its hard to find anyone interested in it or the same periods as me.

I'd guess there are at least some historical gamers in the Andover area, but we've never had any contact with them. Wasn't your mate that played Bolt Action (John?) into historical, or do I have him confused with someone else?

Just noticed this thread. I still have my greeks for warmaster ancients and am happy to play. We did our armies as 6mm, but it's only the base sizes that really matter so as long as both armies are on the standard 20x40mm bases it really doesn't matter what scale the models are. I've got all the books if you want me to fish them out for you to have a look at some point.
