Taking this to be the general rules discussion thread…

You only need to be a character, not an independent character, to be able to freely allocate wounds elsewhere despite being already slightly wounded. So a Cataphractii sergeant can ‘buffer’ one wound from the squad if you don’t mind making him more vulnerable to challenges.

If a unit cannot fall back the full distance rolled it is destroyed. Pg 193. I think we just went with stopping prematurely yesterday.

Challenges: Reading pg 199 I’m not sure if you get saving throws against excess wounds or if once your opponent is dead the wound pool remaining just goes straight to the combat score?

Also challenges should continue over multiple rounds if nobody dies. I think we were re-doing the issuing of challenges sequence.

I read it as they go towards the combat score.

Terminators have a rules called Inexorable, makes them almost stubborn (ignore most morale modifiers). Pretty sure I’ve been playing that wrong thus far.
