Vehicles in theory scale in the 1:60's but thus makes an interesting read,

Thanks for all the suggestions. I picked up this bus last week (took a punt, it was £7), it's a rather crude job on my part but it looks ok from a distance. If I find the time I might come back to it and add some more detail to finish it off.

Bought some vehicles from wilkinsons at the correct scale a few months ago. Still waiting for the grandchildren to wreck them.

Wrecking stuff I can do if you need a volunteer.
It's building stuff I have problems with. ;)

Good linkage, thanks!

Crooked dice are rereleasing the Pauldron stuff so I've got my eye on that too. I'm not convinced by paper terrain though, looks good and I imagine quick to build as it is pre painted but for the price will it be too fragile(?). The MDF stuff is cheap in cash but time intenstive but should be open to greater abuse.

Cheers

If I can find it I've got a few cardboard/paper "shipping crates" that you can look at, see what you think.

Some useful stuff there, I especially like the checkpoint building. It's weird all these little random online companies doing little bits and pieces.

I've finished all the buildings now so will try and get the actual board painted tomorrow and then it's on to the weathering and then the other half of the board. I've got some ideas for the other half, at the moment I'm thinking either distribution centre or dockyard......

Finished the first half of the board, finished in the sense that it is now gamable on but I want to add the details. I think you can see it in the first picture the difference between a weathered and non weathered building.
