Tom occasionally bodges out some painting.

Prepping some 5 Leagues warband minis. My leader and his two lackeys, the Brave Villager and the Quiet Forester. Frostgrave sprues and a digging out a classic for the forester.

What do you use for basing?

A pot of 'European Thick Mud' from Vallejo. Some kind of thick gunk with bits in. I think the intent is to use it without much painting for dirtying up your quagmire trench warfare models.

It's what I used for the rest of my Frostgrave guys (viewtopic.php?f=32&t=678&start=190#p18097) so sticking with for consistency.

Very effective for little input. Always good.

The advantage of returning to events, I'm motivated to knock out a warband within a week!

Arrggh, left behind again. About half way through mine. I would use having half an hour between work and sleep as an excuse but the heat isn't helping with the paint consistency.

Looking ready to bash heads though.
