Tom occasionally bodges out some painting.

Our little corner of pride

Indeed! I’ve switched from using black to the contrast friendly undercoats now as even if I don’t use contrast paints on the whole model it’s easy to bang out stuff like clothes and flesh (or pretty much anything that isn’t too flat) in no time.

Looks good Tom. I both like and dislike contrast. Easy to quickly paint but also seems hard to get a decent depth of colour, looks like you managed it there though, nice one!

Might not be quite convinced how great the game stats for the gun are, but I really like this model:

More coolness. That weapon looks great and has crazy rules, what’s not to love?!

EDIT: Figured it out, was obvious really.

Do you have another angle of the Stimmer?

I can’t for the life of me figure out where part 8 is supposed to go.

How to paint a 1,000 cred Necromunda gang fast:

Step 1: Spend a lot of creds on your leader. Don't go crazy and spend like half your budget or anything! 490 creds sounds good.

490!? He’s gene-smithed up the wazoo then!?

Your colours look well separated, are you using the undercoat touch up or is this all first attempt?

The odd touch up of an errant dark splosh but mostly just first pass.

Gene-smithed and geared out the wazoo. Power axe, melta/bolter combi, light-carpace armour (hence all the extra red armour plates), armoured undersuit. Results in a T5, W3, 3+ save tank. But fairly easy to just avoid him as he's still M4! All the best for the Alpha.

That kind of a cost doesn't give you much to spend on mates either. With those three models done I'm over halfway on my starting gang! And the remaining two are both basic mooks with a stubcannon. So bottle tests from the first casualty.

Only 5 guys, and only one champion?! I like it!

As you can only gene-smith when first adding to the gang I can see the temptation, especially for your leader.
