You know 95% of the community already hate it before anything has come out.

Makes sense from the money side. If it fails as warhammer then 40k variants.

I quite like the marines figures but would not purchase as cannot think of a game I would use them in, even converted.

The chaos look like the torso has no stomach only chest. Variant for cultist?

Already seen some big GW fanboys slagging off the models (though comments on the rules will have to wait).

And the day has come - GW have ripped off a Mantic IP instead of the other way round! ;)

Well...

Sanguineous ir whatever he is called was an angel. And elohi are from the bible and used in many, many things (preacher and dogma off the top of my head. Oh and heroes of might and magic)

Like I said. I'm interested as its a stand alone game and not ninth edition from what I heard, the figures are generally quite nice but do not fit anything about the background of sigmar in any way whatsoever.

Latest rumours are all rules online free forever, just buy models.

Which if true is a radically different approach to how it sounds 40k is run currently!

Looks like they are trying to get in new faces and have no plans for old at all. Free figure with WD :o and rules are four pages long, also in mag. :o :o

At least if the rules are free we will be able to see how badly written they are without having to spend money on them

Turns out a large portion of the rules have been leaked... Random run distances, random charge distances, a combat system which penalises you for charging multiple units in the same turn, melee attacks from models nowhere near the combat, flying units can walk through walls. Pretty sure I won't be playing this.

Sounds almost as well thought out as 40k and its buy to win mechanic.

I'd be willing to give the rules the befit of the doubt until played, but there seems to be literally zero attempt at any force balancing beyond a vague figure count. I'm flabbergasted .
