Going to say no, as I've already got to replace my phone next week, so can't afford another drain on the wallet (I know I can just go to look, but "ooh, shinies!").

Mike,

How much is the rail ticket? Turns out my free ticket can only be used when I'm with the season ticket holder (which sounds like a ruse to only let me go anywhere when she's is supervising me!)

Cheers,
Dave

Got my ticket too! See you at the station. Have we decided what time train we're getting this year?

£132.80 total price for four of us. Includes underground and dlr.
£100.40 cheap day return and £32.40 day travel card.

The group save apparently does not give discount on travel cards, network rail does. 1/3 off all tickets.

£33.20 each and purchase at the station.

If you have contactless bank cards you'd be better off using those rather than travel cards, just tap them at the barriers. Went on about 8 different journeys a few weeks ago and only cost about £6

And if I book in advance online we can get another 1.25 off thE total price or go with contact less. Does everyone have contact less. ?

Fairly certain we don't need for a day pass for one return journey. I've got an Oyster card with some juice so happy to just get the ticket to Waterloo.

Same. Oyster is cheaper than a day pass and is it not also cheaper than touching in with a bank card in some situations?
