Its a shame we couldn't get together much this year, though I still managed to lose plenty of games, so here's to next year being a bit more forgiving.
Hope you and your families are all are well and you get some pretty toys to play with soon.
Merry Christmas,
Gary.

(Written just after they announced we're in Tier 4  )

And to you, here's hoping for a significantly better 2021. I've significantly missed you guys.

Much love from clearly morally superior tier 2 Wiltshire.

I hope you all had a good Christmas (hopefully you got some new toys) and here's to a more normal New Year. A tier 4 New Year's Eve is going to be a little different!

As others have said, looking forward to hopefully meeting up again in the not too distant future, but if that continues to extend maybe we can convince some more of you to grab a beer (or other beverage) and join the online sessions - I know it's not the gaming we're used to, but at least it's some gaming - with bad dices rolls and banter.

What are you using for the online gaming? As the only laptop I have access to is my work one, I'm limited to what I can do with it (unless I can figure out the IT password)

We've been using MS Teams with a fair degree of success. Only one person needs a copy, everyone else can login via the web. If hosting, I normally send out a link that opens in people's browsers. Having a webcam that's not integrated into your computer is also quite useful as it allows better positioning for whatever board you're using.

If you're not 'hosting' you could argue that you don't even need a camera - there have been a couple of times when Sven's dialled in that it was easier for him just to be on voice (bandwidth issues) although that meant we couldn't see Rachel poking him in the head to distract him :D .
