I believe I may have cheated! I think my champion should have failed her cool check (as I think I rolled a 6 and her cool is actually 7+) and so she would have run away before having the chance to plasma your leader!
The Guard dies but it does not surrender

No worries, he did a lot of damage before he went. Plus I shot your pinned champion and she might not have been visible if she was lying down.
